Join Epic Brewing Co. co-owner David Cole and us on Wednesday, February 1st, when we tap three beers from the Salt Lake City-based brewery – the Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout, the Smoked and Oaked Belgian-Style Dark Ale and the Spiral Jetty IPA — and pair each with the culinary delights of Chef Gene Sohn.The Spiral Jetty IPA will be complemented by pan-seared scallops, potato chip, sautéed spinach and IPA honey blood orange sorbet. The Smoke and Oaked Dark Ale will feature mushroom-stuffed quail, truffle mung bean pancake, micro-sprout greens, Smoke and Oak hoisin glaze. Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in the fried apple rings and a chocolate mousse enhanced with the Big Bad Imperial Stout.
These particular beer/food pairings will be available through Saturday, Feb. 4.
