Fasten up your corset, hitch up your tights, and go back in time to merry olde England.
Quench your thirst with a goblet of the finest mead; sate your appetite with a gigantic turkey leg, knave sandwich, or succulent steak-on-a-stake.
Test your skill at the ancient sport of cornhole or indulge in an Elizabethan drinking game.
The long celebrated European tradition of mead-making is experiencing a revival, right here in river city. Guests will be able to sample some of the finest modern mead, including those from:
♦ Charm City Meadery,
♦ Moonlight Meadery,
♦ B. Nektar Meadery, and
♦ Honey Grail Meadery.
A representative from locally based Honey Grail Meadery will be on hand to talk mead making and distribute samples of its Boudica’s Uprising Honey Mead.
Those who arrive dressed as a medieval maiden, Scottish lass, Crusader, or druid-- or in a kilt flashing in the manner of William Wallace--will receive 10 percent off their bill.
Go on, smite thy thirst!
